continuing our intensive work

We will be traveling throughout this month, presenting one of our creations in the cold but welcoming lands of Sabugal. We will also present the creation for babies “Conchas” in Setúbal, which continues to fulfill its role, year after year, bringing early audiences closer to artistic creation.
We continue to Ílhavo with our lambe-lambe theater “Mãos de Sal” (Salt Hands), kicking off Mandrágora's strong presence at the “Palheta - Robertos e Marionetas” festival in Gafanha da Nazaré. We will also be at Casa Branca de Gramido to hold another training session at the Puppet School, this time dedicated to puppets with “História a Meias”.
Meanwhile, we have developed a theatrical program in homage to the poet Joaquim Moreira da Silva. This project, whose intense work began last year, is now reaching its final stage. The construction, costumes, music, and dramaturgy are being finalized so that, at the beginning of March, it will be possible to launch this cultural mediation project: the creation “O homem que lavra a palavra” (The man who plows the word).
Finally, we are continuing our intensive work on the creation of “A Oliveira Milenar” (The Ancient Olive Tree), focusing on rehearsals and the road to the premiere, after returning from an intense artistic residency in Norway.
